We make art and ceramics because we love it. That is why you will not find large quantities of the same work in our shop.
Some forms return in small batches, in another size or colour and with new details.
Every piece is individually shaped and glazed by hand, so variations are always part of it.

How our ceramic pieces come to life
Five steps from idea to finished piece
Every piece takes its own route through hands, clay, glaze and kiln.
01Idea
It all starts with an idea
A piece always begins with an idea or a thought. Sometimes we find inspiration in one another or in other people. At other times, something simply happens while we sit with the clay.
02Line
The piece takes shape
We try to bring our wonderful idea to life in clay. Some days it goes brilliantly. Other days, it is back to the drawing board!
03First firing
Ready for colour and shine
The piece takes its first trip through the kiln and is ready to receive its colour and shine.
04Glaze
The second firing
After a round with glaze and brushes, it is time for the piece to take its second trip through the kiln.
05Piece
Finished and full of life
The piece is finished, lovely and full of new colours and life. We care for it until it is ready to come home and live with you.

Our story
We are Mette & Nicole
We are Mette and Nicole. We have known each other since fourth grade and have been nearly inseparable ever since.
At the wheel or around the table, we share ideas, help each other and laugh our way through both the good ideas and the do-overs.
That is why every piece is shaped with personality, joy and love — even when some forms return in small batches.
